Synopsis
In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But when a mysterious killer stalks Hollywood’s stars, a trail of blood threatens to reveal his dark past. Maxine’s "Oui" the shirt is a reference to Oui, an adult pornographic magazine published in the United States that contains explicit nudity. The Bette Davis quote shown at the beginning of the film is misquoted.

About the deal Warner Music Group Film & TV licenses. I just got back from an early screening and wanted to share a few thoughts. All in all it was a good time. Some of the tones felt more like drama than horror because there are no real tense or scary moments, but I understand that horror isn’t always interpreted that way.
Mia Goth is always worth watching
I think you should at least watch X beforehand to understand some of the backstory and references. I was very interested in the style of the film, that 80’s glam/sleaze look and feel was nailed perfectly. Ti West is good at it, as seen in his previous work, especially The House of the Devil. X is still my favorite of the trilogy, but if you’re a fan of the other two movies, you’ll like this one.

The soundtrack, costumes and performances were very well done. A24 has produced some of the most memorable horror films of the 2000s.
